Enterprise M3 is currently recruiting for two new posts within its small team. We are a highly regarded Local Enterprise Partnership working across Hampshire and Surrey to deliver collaborative economic growth. With a strong reputation across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, we are looking to strengthen our high performing and versatile team through the appointment of a Digital Taskforce Manager and a Housing Policy Manager. 

Our work is fast-paced, diverse and rewarding and provides the opportunity to be involved in inspirational new projects and programmes across the Enterprise M3 area. A positive approach along with an engaging personal style and a high standard of written work is an essential requirement for both roles.

New Home for Businesses in Whitehill and Bordon

New Home for Businesses in Whitehill and Bordon

Small businesses will soon have an exciting new choice of location when the Whitehill and Bordon Business and Enterprise Centre (BEC) opens later this year.

The Business and Enterprise Centre, funded by the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the Homes and Communities Agency, will provide high quality space along with a range of support and training to help nurture businesses during their early days and offer flexible lease arrangements that can easily adapt as businesses grow.

The Homes and Communities Agency has undertaken extensive refurbishment works of the former sergeant mess at its Louisburg Barracks site, to create the new hub for businesses and have appointed Oxford Innovation to run the facility.  The Centre, to be called “BASE” will provide new jobs alongside the new housing.

Paul Hogg and Jason Gaskell joins Enterprise M3 LEP Board

Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) welcomes Professor Paul Hogg and Jason Gaskell as they step into new roles within the LEP’s Board. Paul Hogg takes over from Malcolm Parry as the Higher Education representative, while Jason Gaskell succeeds Zoe Gray as the not-for-profit Sector representative.  

Professor Hogg is the Vice-Principal (Research and Enterprise) and Dean of Science at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is a leading international figure in the field of advanced materials, specialising in recent years in aerostructures and wind turbines. He has been leading a project to establish a new Department of Electronic Engineering at Royal Holloway, which will be admitting its first students this year. In his role, Professor Hogg will strengthen ties between higher education, businesses and local government, ensuring research and growth opportunities flow from universities to community for the benefit of all in the area.

Enterprise M3 Submits Response to the Industrial Strategy Green Paper

Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) today submits its response to the Industrial Strategy Green Paper after more than 10 weeks of consultation to gather feedback from our partners and stakeholders. The Green Paper sets out the government’s proposals for an Industrial Strategy, which seeks ‘to improve living standards and economic growth by increasing productivity and driving growth across the whole country’.

Based on feedback from consultations with stakeholders, our key asks to the government include:

Mark Lebus appointed as Chair of Enterprise M3 LEP Rural Group

13 April 2017: Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has named Mark Lebus as the new Chair of its Rural Action Group. The Rural Action Group brings together public, private and not for profit stakeholders to develop and recommend policies and actions to advance the economic interest of rural areas, which make up a significant proportion of the Enterprise M3 LEP area. The group works with local councils and other organisations to secure long term and sustainable economic growth in the rural economy.

Mark will work with other members of the Group to ensure that the rural agenda is strongly represented throughout the work of Enterprise M3 and also ensure that our rural communities have the opportunity to articulate their needs and concerns. .
